#1: CC3 and 4: can't access surface for lock Author: Demonaz, Posted: Tue Nov 29, 2011 11:11 pm — I installed CC3 and 4 today. Almost immediately after starting the game I get the error: can't access surface for lock.
I'm using windows vista and can't change the directdraw acceleration in dxdiag.
I read somewhere that it isn't possible to change with nvidia geforce drivers but a friend had the same problems today with vista and an ATI radeon driver.
Can some1 help us please so we can play this wonderfull games!

It's strange because CC3 worked for 1 day for my friend, but we were kicked out during a campaign and after that we couldn't get it work again.
