What ever happenned to that loser who was going to make a better Close Combat on his weekend off.

He posted a few dinky videos that could have been completely fake but looked good and then .... nothing.

Who was that masked man?

I seem to remember that he provided a demonstration on how well pathing can be resolved. Some time after pathing issues in the CC series had been vastly improved. Perhaps he was hired for the purpose, and as part of the deal was requested to cease work? Just a theory.
