Just a little off track here but not much

I have a mate who's father was with the Australian 9th Division Artillery in the desert war

At his place he showed me his late fathers photo album

He had taken a camera off an Italian prisoner at some stage and got the film developed on leave.

It was quite interesting, photos of Rommel, and exercises & wrecked ordinance.

I said at the time to him that the photos were unique & that the National War Memorial in Canberra would love copies

But he just shrugged, I contacted a military memorabillia site on his behalf

All they said was "there are more photos of Rommel about than you think"

Don't know but 70 years on I would have thought unpublished photos of the time would be rare.

seems they might just die with him, (60) hope not, but i tried.

Love your work by the way Brake!
