If I have cc5 already what would I be gaining with lsa or tld? There loads of mods for cc5 but not a lot for the other 2 you mentioned?  Or do they improve on cc5? Lsa is cc2 is it different to the cc5 mod?
Thanks
Dylan

much better graphics ,maps and in campaign you will be able combine units ,vanilla ver suck just like they do for any CC thats not modded

pathing is better, los is now better more off board arty light and med. u can pick from 25 units types old cc5 is 20.

sure PITF will be better but you looking 2 years before it will be any good.

Combine units? Can tld be played against cc5 on gameranger? Which one of the re releases would you get if you could pick one if you already had cc5? Is the campaign improved on the new versions?
Thanks and sorry about all the questions. I only want to buy one for now so need to make sure its the right one.

still looks good imo. its just that it is not a re release so it will be a brand new campaign etc. not alot needs to be changed in cc, i like it the way it is (after the patches etc).
also is the matrix cc website anything to do with this one or is there different mods and maps on each? do the same people go to both forums?

TLD - comes with a new strat layer, battles, operations and campaign covering all beach landings plus the original CC5 stuff (but unfortunately not compatible with CC5). It is built on top of WAR with some enhancements. WAR was built on CC5 some enhancements and bug fixes.

LSA - has a new strat layer, battles, operations and campaign. LSA is built on top of TLD with a good number of enhancements.

While it would be nice to have,I just can't do $50 for another CC.
And I only assume this price based on the other re-releases.

Here's hoping the next Generation of CC is what we've all dreamed of being and will be.

Not so much the re-release point, but they continue to ignore the African and Italian campaigns, meanwhile, especially Normandy has been beaten literally to death with TLD and all of the user made campaigns.

Looks as if they are looking for Beta Testers.
Are you worthy?

Hehe, no doubt.  Laughing

For a person (like myself), that is still dabbling in the bits and pieces of CC4, CC5, CCM, etc... I can get a little excited over the "other" things, like the new UI, and the 32 bit graphics.

That being said, I think people should wait AT LEAST A YEAR (perhaps more now days), to see if this title will actually be supported by the developers going forward. I would make this recommendation for any PC game title today, especially those from Matrix.

It is entirely possible, they will release this game and the developers will move to the 3D game (the future revenue stream), and never look back.
