Hey guys,

TLD:OC is the new generation of what was GJS 4.4:TRSM for CC5.

First of all, that won;t be a straight forward porting, that will be a major overhaul of the mod with tons of new units, weapons and the totally new GC(s) with new balance so it will be played as a new mod...

Main changes are:

1) 25 FP slots instead of 20 in CC5 - more historical accurate FPs.
2) Totally new meaning of GC - the allies can't have even minor victory not having crucial maps around Caen.
3) The German has pretty same number of Arty offboard support.
4) It will be much more historical accurate and have different balannce than CC5 version.

I've gathered tons of new information about Normandy June 1944 so there will be alot of changes into FPs and teams that will be shown soon.

The main problem is that TLD XCEL FP tools always keep frozen and crashed if you go for 24 days (June 6-30) - maybe that's the reason TLD has only 4 days? :)

But I made very long way so won't stop at this stage. Hopefully Stalk helps me with graphical side of this mod Smile.

Below is an example of how will be different FP of III./25./12.SS-PzD in comparison to CC5 version (not the final one) - btw this BG will appear on different day as well (sorry for the poor quality).

Cheers,
Dima

Self propelled artillery will be very welcomed by any player trying out the German side. Will the 251/7 be equipped with a bridge, or is it the on-board gun that made you pick it for use?

25 FP slots is awesome. Very interesting expansion.

just trying to show it as accurate as possible, no bridge will be there, but yes some 251/7 will have 2.8cm capable of dealing with Sherman at side/rear and front sometimes Wink.

Awesome news Dima!

For the force pool problem is it the spreadsheet or game crashing on you?

Hi Dima,

Tigercub and I have been waiting on this anxiously.

Any idea of when it will be ready?

Hi Mark,

Yeah, it took way longer than expected but we are on a final run now.

A huge work was already done:

- over 200 new units.
- most of the old teams reworked.
- dozen new sprites for vehicles.
- 5 new BGs.
- reworked GC.
- etc, etc.

Nikin has helped alot epecially with graphics so maybe he can post some Smile.

Hopefully it will be out for public test this weekend or next.

Hi Dima

Will this mod cover the same time frame and area as TLD vanilla? or as GJS/TRSM for CC5?

Many thanks for your hard work. Cant wait to play!

Hey guys,

Dima is too optimistic. Do not wait for release so quickly. Need at least another two months.

Some graphics.
