Does the map PontduH represents an actual historcial place. If so, does anyone know what it is?

At first I thought this to be Pointe du Hoc, but me thinks the map PointH is for that place.

So does PontduH = Pont du Hable?

I've been playing the GC for the WAR version and I must say I forgot how great this Mod is.
It's been years since I played it.

That map bugs me.

It was drawn I believe to match an actual location and properly faces N but all the other maps were drawn with the beach to E / right to match what Atomic did with CC5.... Tried spinning the map using the Mafi's tool that keeps intact the coding but then all shadows are wrong direction....

In the re-releases now the home direction for each side can be set and is not hard coded like CC5....

IMO, this is not too much of an issue.

Beautiful map by the way, props to whoever drew it.

I do agree. And I love playing on this map.

I also agree with Tejszd about its orientation, but only in the context of the BO campaign.

For instance, I have cut this map into 2 seperate maps for use with CCMT.
