I've been playing the mod for days now, and I've been running into a problem that about 5 minutes into a battle, It'll crash. I've fought at this place furiously before. Please help this is all new to me.

Its normall to have problems. Its hard for me because i hate computers. just keep trying to fix it.
Hopefully some one will try to help you.
Mayby you should try posting a picture of the error that comes up.
Have you patched Close Combat 5?
What mod is it?
Are you using Plug in manager?

And have you tried uninstalling Close combat then reinstalling the game? then adding the mod

I have the same issue - I started playing the Berlin mod for the first time this week (I love it) but a few games into the campaign I start getting regular crashes, usually 5 mins or so into a game.

The error message "Battle of Berlin 1.0 has stopped working" comes up.

Can anyone help? It's a real pity, I'd like to be able to finish the campaign.

As Antony said you definitely want the CC5 v5.01a patch applied. But even then CC5 was not the most stable game as Atomic went out of business before v5.01a was fully tested and no follow up patches were released.

Most likely the crash is from support (probably air) that becomes available during a battle which could be a known problem that was never fixed or an issue with a specific plane. If you open up the campaign an disable air support does the problems go away?

Would be nice if Sapa or someone else moved the mod to TLD/WAR which is more stable then CC5 (though still not as good as we would like as air strikes and the time running out still cause occasional crashes)....

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
