At Matrixgames I could see how people were worried about if the IA was the same from previous games where all we know how it has a bad movement at these very big maps.

Now the point, a mod for reduce the maps. Just they or some of them should be reduced at size and very probably the IA would run better.

It would be a good mod for a more of one person. If there are 40 maps (I do not know the exact number) and each one of you edit a map per month, the mod can be finished soon.

At other way, another good mod, it would be a graphics mod, the icons from units are sad. If they were replaced by icons made by photos from real live, they would be better.

Another mods, these more complex, one can be ports from the previous re-releases and another one mod taking the best from them, one where you can make a campaign from Normandy to the Ardennes. There is not need from use all the maps, it can be made with a quarter or the maps from the re-releases.

Remember, this would be the last CC with this engine. It would be a great chance for realize things like these.

As far as PITF, if you increase your play time to 45 min or more the large maps become small and your game enjoyment increases, because you have more time to plan and act. Also if you decrease your screen size it makes models larger and you can see good on a street level playing style rather than in the clouds.

No one of these two features will make a better movement from the IA. They are not a solution.

But if you reduce the size from the maps, the IA will take flags, it will defend and it will attack you better because it will follow better the paths added for it in the game.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
