Hello,
I've just installed the Battle of Berlin Mod (CCTLDModBOBv1.00.exe) for the first time using Wacht am Rhein (the latest version). The mod loads fine, but when I try to load an individual battle I'm getting errors that are pointing to the Wrecks.azp file. Some maps load fine and others don't.

I'm using Windows Vista 32-bit and have the games shortcut using "Compatibility Mode" which is set to "Windows XP (SP2)" and "Run this program as an administrator" enabled.

Hello DAK_Legion,
I'm not sure I understand you...do you mean using the shortcut without compatibility settings?. Then if that doesn't work, try using different settings until it runs properly?. By the way, I uninstalled the mod the other day and started playing it with CC5 instead.

I wouldn't think you should any compatibility settings as I do not use any on my Windows 7 computer.

Both errors point to the wrecks.azp file. Does a campaign or operation work? If so I think I know the problem. In single battles the game tries to add random wrecks for vehicles listed in the vehicles file even if they are not used in the mod or even if there is no wreck graphic in the file. You can change the name of the wreck to one you know exists to avoid the error....

Windows XP (SP2) compatibility mode is enabled by default, when you install the game and patch it.

I'll install BOB with WAR again and see if the operations work okay. I only played the single battles to try it out.

Tejszd,
I re-installed Battle of Berlin v1.0 and I ran all four operations, each operation ran without error. I then decided to try a single battle with the map Diersderdorf, it ran fine. I exited out of that and proceeded to load the map Charlottenburg. When about to enter the map, it crashed the game.

that same had happened to me with CC5 winter war mod. Whenever I tried to play single battle it crashed. Then I decided to create custom single battles on one map but with supply depots, so it was a mini-operation and ran smoothly...

Thanks for the tip ke_mechial, I'll have to try that out.

I tried the same steps I mentioned in my last reply, but with the CC5 BOB Mod, and it does the same thing. Only when it crashes the game, it doesn't mention anything about the the wrecks.azp file.

I noticed that BOB for TLD/WAR, has a combination of American and Russian voices for the Russians. The deployment area's are different as well, when compared to the CC5 mod. I'm going to stick with playing it with CC5.
