Within the Whirlwind. A female Russian poet is sentenced to 10 years labor in a Soviet Gulag during the Stalin era. Overlooked movie. Sadly it's the best trailer I could find in English.

I think it was made with good intentions to be historical  Read under "Lundtoftbjerg" and "Haderslev"

Most movies are more entertainment than historically accurate. Ben Affleck pretty much said as much after making Argo - artisitc license and all. They fudge a few details to make the stories flow more evenly, more interesting etc.
