Plenty of airsupport to smack Jerry in Normandy:)

Anyone have the hex values for historical weather in CC5?

These are the historical weather hex values in a stock GC saved game file at its creation:

Thanks Mick!

I am searching for the .exe hex values for Historical weather and Airsupport missions.

I have managed to locate the Hex values for random weather airsupport min/max and re-supply (for CC4)
Technically I can assign lots of airsupport to a clear weather or a random weather campaign.

Tried searching for that 100 byte string of weather hex values in the .exe as well as a 25 byte condensed version (01 02 02 01 ...) but found nothing. There were some promising possibilities down around offset 12462A. Hard to imagine something that straight forward being obscured by code. Many things like air support quantities and weather can be edited in a saved GC file but the modded save file isnt self-replicating like a stock GC, Op or battle.

I agree with your point that this should me clear of code, but Im thinking maybe the Date/Day, weather, historical air support and historical re-supply missions are grouped together in some way.
Like for example: day 05 weather 00 airsupport 03 re-supply 01

I have no experience in hex modding , just saying..

Just out of curiosity, what was the offset where you found the random/clear air support values in CC4? Im thinking the historical weather air support values would be nearby. You may be right about historical weather being entwined with related functions but the date is likely not included, Day 0 always being 6/6, Day 24 being 6/30.

Here is what I found for CC5, adresses are ofc different for CC4, but same structure.

CC5 Hex index numbers:
# Allied air strike maximum for each weather type (0-3) for non-historical weather
5,3,3,0
Hex: 1234131
# Axis air strike maximum for each weather type (0-3)
3,2,1,0
Hex: 1234148

# Allied air strike minimum for each weather type (0-3) for non-historical weather
2,1,1,0 (1,2,1,0 in original CC5)
Hex: 1234164
# Axis air strike minimum for each weather type (0-3)
1,0,0,0
Hex: 1234180

Support missions leftover from CC4:
0,3,1,1
Hex: 1234196
