While the scenario editor always should have included Map Preview, it can be modified to show VL values per map using an edited Graphics/CCImages.pix/scenarioeditorscreen image as shown on the Meuse mod editor screen below. This makes it somewhat easier to create user scenarios that account for the game's VL-based victory conditions.

Needless to say, whether its stock or user created single battles, due to the generic attack onto the map deployments, they usually suck for solo play. Better to make 3 map, 2 turn ops where the VL counts can be better balanced and an attacker isnt racing the clock.
