Desperate times the Scorched Earth retreat of Germans as they fought Soviet juggernaut + Polish resistance forces. I don't think either the Germans nor the Soviets allowed captured resistance fighters to live. Even if regular army they would be lucky if captors didn't kill them or let them starve. Brutal times on the East Front.
