open the gc or op u r playing in scenario editor.
u can see the date and map and what bg comes in.since reg cc5 ,only exception to a new bg coming in is if the map they r meant to come in on is already occupied by ur own bg,then they will be forced to enter on nearest entry map,if that is full they will enter later when one of them becomes free to do so.

usually supply depots r on entry maps,for reason of having supply.
but u can make an entry point on a non supply map.
u want to get the necessary vls to connect to ur supply route for the next battle.
