i try and try to get team speak to work, but fail. i can hear others just fine (to much some times ) but i cant talk. i got my mic pluged in. any ideas, i'm guessing there are some settings messed up.

Sometimes there's a mic volume in your volume control (in your 'Accessories' under your 'Start' menu 'programs').
If not there then look in your control panel.
Did you double check your TeamSpeak audio input/output settings? Have you assigned a key to activate your chat?
