I´m converting some cc5 maps to play in cc2 but i´m having some problems.

1) I made a roof file with some roof (ext0000.xxx.xxx, Int0000.xxx.xxx) but they are not working, my troops dont even go into the zone where the roof is.

2) The line of sight, i don´t know if this los are from the other map, the one that was in the gap i´m using, or wath but my troops can see trough buildings.

3) The trees from the other map, the one that was in the gap i´m using apears in the new map.

Wath can i do?

Mafi is the CC2 guru, check out his utilities for conversions etc. As for the btd file, I dont think CC2 needs it, its for the strat map. Also be careful of the size, CC2 maps are smaller than CC5 so you may need to shrink it.

Hi Ivan,

you need to have a new Map### file for CC2. The file to be used as a source is the *.txt file from your CC5 map. Use CC2Tools.exe to convert CC5 maps to CC2. Please remember that CC2's map limit is 19x19 megatiles. CC2Tools.exe can shrink and convert in one step. Please read the manual. For further details on maps (diff. between versions) pleasde read the guides/manuals containing in the 5CC.exe package.

At least you need a new Scenario file. You can use *.btd as a source and CC2Tools.exe to convert *.btd into Scenario.

Good luck

Mafi
