Hi,
the Katjusha in SDK has a wrong sound. It sounds like a canon not like a rocket. Is it possible to create a hotfix with the original "stalinorgel"sound?
By using SFXPack you can replace the wave yourself, if you have one that is. It can be found in the downloads section, this small program allows you to unpack the waves that are packed inside the Sound.sfx file. The Sound.sfx file is in "The Cauldron (Der Kessel)" mod plug-in (.pln).
Just rename the .pln file extension too .zip then extract the file with IZArc, WinZip or WinRAR (You may not even need to rename it).
Use QClone to view and edit .adb files, if you open up Weapons.adb you'll be able to find out what sound numbers are associated with the weapons. If you want to give it a try you will need to download and install Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine in order too be able to use it. You can find these two files in the downloads section of this site as well.
When your done making changes to the waves and are ready to give them a try, repack them with SFXPacker. It places the packed file in it's output folder which is C:\out.sfx, rename the file back to Sound.sfx .
Put the Sound.sfx file back in the folder that you got it from and zip those same files that you unzipped earlier. Rename the .zip back to .pln .
