I just ordered my troops to run across a field that never had much 'war' traffic, and look what happened, the entire rifle team wiped out Sad and nobody shot at them.

Were these land mines since they blew up almost like a mortar or ship barrage.

If you right click on them the game will give you description of the element. They are probably mines....

It looks like a bit more than mines.........mines would leave a crater, not rubble. My guess would be mines surrounded by explosives. Kind of a nasty trick. I like it.....

cheers

they r minefields with flammable coded on outer ring of them.
bloody omaha thing.
makes it easy to blow them all up together
spectacular but stupid
elements also need fixing for correct damage left on battlefield.
its a great map.
justa a lil bit of work to do

Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands

Nope...no mines...just flammables.
Because they're not mines...they don't show up on the zoomed out tactical map.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
