After every exit I get an error message, telling me that CC5 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Can I fix this with a Hex editor?

The mod works fine, it's just when I try to exit out of the game, that this error crops up.

Other mods for CC5 I've used in the past: Afrika 1940-'41, GJS, GJS with TRSM, Stalingrad, SDK, Winter War and Karelia 2. I don't get this problem with them.

Have you tried the CC Starter Utility?
Looks to me to be a direct X/draw error.

I'll try disabling direct draw within "DirectX Diagnostics" first. If that's the case, then I'll have to use CC Starter.

Yes Sir! 98/Me

I can live with it, but I'd rather not. Smile

Found out how to fix it, the answers at the bottom of the mods readme.txt file. This is what it says... Note: If the game crashes when you quit go into Options/General tab and then click on "Enable Videos".

I had videos disabled.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
