Hey All,

I have been away from cc community and recently back into the game this past summer, I played from 1997-2003. At the time I was doing maps, I remember that their where some guides using Adobe Photoshop or other graphical programs. I was wondering if someone still had those documents and also maybe some current mapper’s can share their tips and tricks in doing the excellent maps that they created for the community

Cheers,

Tom

I found this site the other day and it looks very promising for those who would like to create maps.
The forum looks to be an incredible resource for those wanting to learn.

Here is one map that while it may not be to our correct scale, just looks so impressive.
Their map making and Mapping resources looks to be very promising.

I still have the textures I got from the game Axis and Allies.
Shame I don't have the game anymore. Sad
I'll see if I can get around to posting some Pics of them.
The file is pretty large and covers a wide range Textures.
Snow,Desert,Tundra etc etc

platoon_michael, that site is awesome even though it is mostly fantasy d&d type of guys. The Campaign Cartographer software seems like a real easy way to make detailed campaign maps for close combat.

Check out all this shit!

Take a look at this site for inspiration of maps in various cities and places in Eastern Front and Germany plus some original KStN of some german divisions and other formations.

Edit: Look for "Target Dossiers" awesome stuff.
