To play online you have 2 options:
[Option1]
1. Download and install Gamespy here =>http://www.gamespyarcade.com
2. Launch Gamespy and go to Close Combat Invasion Normandy room.
3. Join or create game as you want but make sure you have the SAME
MOD (such as GJS4,4 SAS..) as the another player.
4. The game is launched automatically using DirectPlay
[Option2]
Using your favorite Messenger program (MSN, ICQ..) to meet other CC players. Manually launch CC and type in the IP addr by yourself.
[Hosting game]
1. If your PC have firewall installed, you need to allow CC5.exe to access the internet and permit incoming connection.
2. If your PC are behind router,
Please make sure your router firmware is the latest one.
Also, go to router setup and forward the following port to your PC's IP addr.
47624 TCP
2300-2400 TCP
2300-2400 UDP
3. While waiting for the another player in the game Main Screen when hosting a game, DO NOT alt-tab to desktop until you give up hosting. Reports suggest that this may cause problem for others to join your game.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
