Seen some but not all - very good, cheers. The Spitfire in the sands off Calais has just been restored if a recent doco I watched recently is correct - same pic.
Absolutely recommended to everyone into fighting in the Eastern Front during WW2.
On episode 7 now, I think its about Stalingrad.
You certainly are reminded of the scale of the East Front in this documentary. It goes into some nice detail on the battles. I have never really read or seen details on the siege of Leningrad so that was very interesting. Over 800 days in a siege. The heartbeat of Leningrad, a metronome broadcast over radio, when its slow it means all clear, faster means danger.
The battleship guns installed around Sevastopol. I went right to Google Maps to find them afterwards, and there they were. German HE-111 torpedo bombers in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. All very interesting.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
