Close Combat Player's News Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far NewsThe tool, CCBMaker has been updated to version 1.01 by Mafi. This tool is ued to create custom battles. When playing the Afrika mod, the built in battle maker crashes. With CCBMaker, you can create custom battles for Afrika without crashes. CCBMaker is not just for Afrika though, it will make battles for regular CC2 also. All updates are listed inside the readme.txt file. Download CC2 Battle Maker.

Close Combat Vehicle Shadow Edit A new tool has also just been released by Mafi. Vehicle Shadow Edit, this tool enables you to edit and create shadows for all CC versions. This comprehensive tool comes with a traditional graphic editor interface. Tools such as shape creators, pixel painting tool, eraser and flood fill are some of its features. Also bundled is a detailed instruction manual and MAC version.

The Afrika mod has also been updated to version 2.1. There are a number of updates. First of which, all vehicle shadows have been repainted using Mafi's new vehicle shadow edit tool. The El Adem map (403) has been inserted as an add-on map. Some data debugging as well as some other changes have also been implemented. A full list is in the readme.txt file. The full stand alone version here, and on Tournament House have been updated. Download the new, full version of CC2 Afrika.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
