they were going to use tug boats to tow river barges holding entire companies and battalions.

even if they could secure an area in the channel they'd still be *****ed because they couldn't get their troops across cause they had virtually no transport ships.

Goering was the Marshall of the Luftwaffe... but with other marshall, operation sea lion could be a big trouble for anglos

I think the luftwaffe would have done most of the work. If Germany could have hammered away at the British for a while (and left Russia alone for the time being), I think they could have done it.
