Early days yet, but I voted "Normandy Again?"
Normandy games have been done to death, which is why I'm looking forwards to The Bloody First.

Cathartes working on this tips the balance towards "Looking forward to it".
But yeah, if we are going to see more experimentation on this oldie instead of consolidation then lets move on!

I voted 'looking forward to it'. At the most basic level, I've enjoyed playing all the CC games (right from the Mac version of CC1, until I saw sense and switched to PC from Mac for CC3. CC was one of the reasons I switched from overpriced Macs to PC's in the late 90's and have never looked back since!). Some have been better than others, and no doubt I'll have a blast playing 'Gateway To Caen'. Really looking forward to see the 3d version, only gripe would be that I'd prefer a CC5 style format rather than CC3

It was hard to decide between that and retire this engine, but based on the amount of patches we have gotten in the past few years.
I'd say they already have.

Wow yeah Normandy is way overdone. Why only ONE East Front game in the whole series? I don't get it. Or North Africa or Crete - variety would be so much better.
In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
