The Arnhem Rail Bridge is an important secondary objective of the Market plan. 2 Para battalion (of 1st Parachute Brigade) is to secure the bridge on the way into Arnhem.  Although it will be difficult to secure and hold, the rail bridge does provide us with an alternative to the main road bridge in Arnhem itself.  Take advantage of what little cover there is and do your best.  If the rail bridge is destroyed, push on to Arnhem with all speed.
The first step in defeating the British airborne troops is to deny them all the possible crossings over the Rhine.  Hold the railroad bridge if possible, but destroy it immediately if there is a chance it will fall to the enemy.
