Your primary mission here is to keep the Germans in check and protect the landing zone on Son Heath and the corridor road through St. Odenrode.  Don't risk heavy losses trying to dig the Germans out of the woods -- just establish your defensive line and let them come to you.
This wooded area provides an ideal staging area for an attack into the Allied flank -- you can strike at the American landing zone on the Son Heath, or threaten the corridor directly via St. Odenrode or Schijndel.  While our forces may be weak initially, reinforcements are on the way.  Use the woods and advance cautiously, then once you are strong enough, smash through and cut the corridor!
