Son Heath is the primary drop zone for the US 101st Airborne Division.  The second lift, scheduled for the afternoon of September 18th, will bring in supplies, artillery and anti-tank guns, and the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment.  After a link-up with XXX Corps has been achieved, the drop zones are of secondary importance.
A very large body of American parachutists have landed on the Son Heath, so this would seem to be a primary drop zone.  Drive the Americans off and we can deny them reinforcements and supplies by air, as well as being poised to strike at either Son bridge or St. Odenrode.
