If you can spare a stronger force for Heelsum, be prepared for German troops to approach from Rhenen, to the west. Use the bridges and the bluffs west of Heelsum to delay the enemy and safeguard the second lift. After the second lift we no longer need to be concerned with holding this area. Enemy paratroops have landing somewhere to the north or northeast of Heelsum. These paratroops are deep behind our front line, and they must be expecting an attack by enemy ground forces to link up with them. Control Heelsum and you can cut them off from the Rhine in this sector, as well as threaten the Heveadorp ferry crossing, just to the east.
