While not considered a critical objective for the Market plan, control of Heveadorp, and the ferry to Driel, could become important if we are unable to secure any bridges across the lower Rhine.  You can expect the enemy to destroy the ferry if there is a battle here, but if we are lucky and move quickly perhaps it can be captured without a fight.
The Heveadorp - Driel ferry could be used by the enemy to move troops across the lower Rhine and establish a bridgehead, even if we hold all the bridges.  As such, capturing this area, or at least forcing battle so we can destroy the ferry, is critical.  Note that the ferry land stage is dominated  from the high ground to the north.
