Here are the files needed to try out the new strategic map for CCIV. The UO143jpg is a screen shot showing the map connections and the Index #'s that correspond with the playing maps. The file BGM Jpegs are all the original playing maps from CCIV with a 120X120 grid overlayed. The Assenios Jpeg shows an example of how to properly list your new set of BTD's as far as I know. The TestGC is a Grand Campaign made for use with the new strategic map. The sehlp file goes in your Data/Help file and is used to correct the roll over text on the new Scenario Editor screen. The new strategic map uses a patched unmodded version of CCIV version4.02 And uses all the original maps and all the original files from the game. Be sure to back up all your files before trying it out. The game will crash on the very same map it will load the next time around, The crash's are very inconsistant at this point and very hard to determine what is causing them. I just dont get it anymore.I have tried everything that I know of which isnt saying much as this is the first time I ever decided to mod CCIV. Good Luck to all who try And please feel free to do as you wish with the files. pfc.michael 1-15-2006 Updated:8/24/2006 After further review And editing I can get the game to load and run fine as long as I dont use the town of Krinklet. The X,Y corrdinates are to high and the flamming circle displayed for next battle is cut off, thus causing the game to crash. If you just omit this town withing the CCIV Scenario Editor built within CCIV. The game seems to run fine.
