HAFID RIDGE MAP NOTES:  Very little historical visual information exists for this area so I had to try to assemble a mental picture of the area from descriptions and battle diaries.  Even the written information avoided direct descriptions of the area.  I think I'm pretty close to the general idea of what the area was like.  If anyone has any photos of the area or written descriptions please forward it on.

I tried to employ some new concepts on this map that I hope will translate properly.  Rather than describe them here I'd prefer you have a chance to find out for yourself.  I am pleased with the way the camp on the top of the ridge turned out.  Game play is very intense since most of the VL's for the map are located there.  Creates an appropriate focal point for the ridge.  The way the desert is rendered allows guns and tanks to rule the vast expanses and the AI plays far more aggressively than I've seen on most other maps.
