SIDI REZEGH MAP NOTES:  Very little historical visual information exists for this area so I had to try to assemble a map of the area from descriptions and battle diaries.  Even the written information avoided direct descriptions of the area.  I think I'm pretty close to the general idea of what the area was like.  If anyone has any photos of the area or written descriptions please forward it on.  Pictures exist of the battlefield from the encounters later on with the Germans but it's my understanding that the first battles in Sidi Rezegh fought with the Italians mainly took place within the city itself and at the airport.

This is my first map that incorporates a 'city'.  It's still a small city or large village but then again not many of Africa's cities were all that large back then.  Just a handful.  The rest all seem to be on the verge of being covered up by the desert sand.
