Hey Dima,

Thanks for your hard work and continued hard work with the mod.

Whilst I may not agree with everything you have done I am enjoying the games with it to date.

To those of who who just flame this mod in a rude and critical manner, then just go back to playing your previous mods.

It seems with the advent of the internet, manners and politeness have been thrown out the window.

Use CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM please. After reading some of the peoples comments on these forums, its a wonder anyone would spend their valuable time making a mod when they are opening themselves to harsh criticism.

Remember, no one and I mean no one, is going to agree with every single aspect of a mod, other than he who created it.

Regards,

Mark

For my 2c on this I agree. Don't flame the developer, or the mod for that matter. Anyone who attempts to improve the game/mods deserves praise. Where would this game be without the mod makers.

I can see TRSM developer may have invited some flak by claiming 'total realism' but hey, for the would be flamers of TRSM, why not make your own mod with your desired changes and let the players decide if it's actually better, or more realistic. If you couldn't be bothered with that then shut ur hole.

Shocked

Interesesting to note that the first comment on this was from a "guest" first time posting.. also 2nd comment was a from a player whos only played a few mods by his own call{ gjs, meuse, utah recently) Dimas a big boy made plenty of harsh comments about realism on other mods... well about time to take a few back in my honest opinion... to me theres history as it was wrote then theres reality as Dima wrote it.. if this pisses people off then good... no more then Dimas reallity has pissed me off...

hi,

iam opened for that all the time. only that helps to develop mod.

not really, it;s always a compromise between what u want to do (as modmaker) and what game engine allows u to do. So actually i don't agree to many things in TRSM,Utah, etc but don't c solutions to make them in diferent way w/o having too many drawbacks, if anyone could help/suggest i always up for it.

v good said Smile.
as for my side iam always opened to answer all the questions, fix the flaws/bugs and implement new ideas offered by players.

Blackstump, there is nothing interesting it that...something happens to CCS:

1.that was posted by me but somehow appeared as posted by Guest:
http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=4058&start=10
2.then u could c advertisements of viagra and etc for 2 pages in TRSM thread, tried to delete them but they have appeared once again.
3.can't upload images via CCS imagehosting.

so there is no conspiracy here, but of coz everyone judges other according to his own actions Wink.

bring it on Smile. just get some knowledge on the subject first Wink.

Hey Stumpy,

The guest was me MarkM (Deserted Fox) at work, and didn't realise I was logged in as a guest when I made the post, easy mate...lol. I don't post here often anyway.

Well, I am not aware of the history here of anyone flaming someone else as I don't follow these forums religiously, but if you say so, I believe you. I know you are a stand up guy.

Is it beer o'clock yet there mate?

But I do believe in constructive criticism is way better than just flaming someone.

My thoughts only.

Regards,

Mark

u could rename the mod.(const criticism)
if that is cause of concern,or just be a bit more confident about it.
and avoid blaming the game engine.
dont see the same defenders sticking up for gjs 44.

well first reason why and the only reason i will bother to tell you,is out of respect
for the original makers of GJS who realistically done the hard work.

As far as that's on the money then I take back what I said.

Well partly, two wrongs don't make right etc and so I maintain constructive criticism is the way to go. For mine, I appreciate the time and energy that goes into the mods I play, as I'm sure we all do. That my only real point. I'm ignorant to the specifics of this thread.

It's probably easy for things to get out of hand when people find reason to criticise something a developer has invested a lot of time and energy into.

u can create an altar and pray to them :ok1

me gave credits to all, and created TRSM with associating of Atilla.

u sure u read readme?
Lordy, i wonder when u start to prove at least certain percentage of what u post Laughing

Mik, that the thing certain group of guys here accuse me in but could never prove their words Wink. If u want u can easily track that issue thru the threads here on CCS.
U'd be surprised what some of them did to make it sound more frankly (creating new accounts, posting and then replying to them, etc). Thats why some of them just can't believe that 'Guest' can be CCS member accidentally posted w/o loging in.

Anyway if what they told was true i would just delete their posts but for me it's v funny to c them hitting their face in their own shit again and again :devil5 .

Hi all,

Well the last thing on my mind was to create a war of words.

My point to make was to be respectful when making comments on all forums, not just related to this (TRSM) forum. It also stems from my playing other games, notibly from Matrix games and there is from time to time on their forums some rather harsh and unnecessary comments made.

If I made a mod or sub mod, I am sure I would be the only person who agreed with every decision I took in making it.

But as I spend tooooo much time playing games rather than making them I am very thankful to all the creaters of the games, as well as the modders.

Happy gaming all.

Mark

Mark,

u made good post and pointed correct things. It is not yer fault that some guys just used it to add their "comments" that had almost nothing to do with either constructive criticism or TRSM in general.
