Topic: The Red Devils Close Combat Clan
The RD Clan is made up of a handful of former veteran CC members from the AA
(Airborne Assault Clan). After the retirement of some key members, we decided
it was time to start a clan dedicated solely to Close Combat. We hope to maintain
the tradition and honor that the AA clan brought to the community for many years.
We will be actively playing CC4 Vetbob and most CC5 mods. Recruitment is now underway
at the Red
Devils Clan homepage.
Why the Red Devils? During WWII the 504, 507 and 508th Parachute Infantry Regiments
took on the nickname, Red Devils. A German Officer in Anzio wrote in his diary... They
[Red Devils] are less than 100 meters from my outpost line. I can't sleep at night,
they pop up from nowhere and we never know when or how they will strike next.
Seems like the black-hearted devils are everywhere... Please
come in and register at the website, apply for membership and/or challenge the
clan.
