Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far NewsThe tool, CCBMaker has been updated to version 1.01 by Mafi. This tool is ued to create custom battles. When playing the Afrika mod, the built in battle maker crashes. With CCBMaker, you can create custom battles for Afrika without crashes. CCBMaker is not just for Afrika though, it will make battles for regular CC2 also. All updates are listed inside the readme.txt file. Download CC2 Battle Maker.

Close Combat Vehicle Shadow Edit A new tool has also just been released by Mafi. Vehicle Shadow Edit, this tool enables you to edit and create shadows for all CC versions. This comprehensive tool comes with a traditional graphic editor interface. Tools such as shape creators, pixel painting tool, eraser and flood fill are some of its features. Also bundled is a detailed instruction manual and MAC version.


The Afrika mod has also been updated to version 2.1. There are a number of updates. First of which, all vehicle shadows have been repainted using Mafi's new vehicle shadow edit tool. The El Adem map (403) has been inserted as an add-on map. Some data debugging as well as some other changes have also been implemented. A full list is in the readme.txt file. Close Combat 1 News Now for those of you with CC1, Mafi has converted some of the MAC only mods to PC. The MAC only readme files have also been converted to MS Word format. Although all mods have been converted, none have been tested. Here are the newly converted mods.

Close Combat Vehicle Shadow Edit Desert Fox - Desert scenarios using Eckhardt's new desert terrain set.
Kasserine Pass - Desert scenarios based on Rommel's attack towards Kasserine in 1943. (Pictured on the left)
Path Finder - A three-day battle fought in the mountains of Sicily.
Winter War - Battles take place during the winter of 1944 in Germany.
