The 7th Armored Clan has been fighting an internal operation over the past few months. They are using Dima's Total Realism Sub Mod for GJS4.4. The operation spans from the 20th of June to the 6th of July. Many battlegroups are now fighting North West of Caen without supply. Infantry losses so far are faily even. Tank losses for Allies are 169 vs Axis 128. At the time of this report, a minor victory is currently held comfortably by the Allies with 10 days remaining. 7A_Loki is managing the Allied side, while 7A_Bjorn is the Axis commander.

Tilly June 22nd PM

Pz Lehr

I attacked up the NW side. I had one stug and three Pz IV and got into a shoot out with two Fireflies and two Shermans. The hedges made LOS difficult for both of us. I finally popped smoke and charged through the hedges, as you can see in 2nd picture. I took out two Fireflies. He has one left. I lost two PzIV and one Stug and he snuck some infantry behind my lines and grabbed two VLs.

June 23rd AM

Buron

Brits attacked hard up the right flank. Our Tiger killed one Sherman and a Pak killed one tank anddamaged a stuart until infantry finally got to it and flanked. His tanks suppressed our mgs so even though he lost tanks he took the right side of map. Hard to stop without supply. Brits gained a lot of VLs this turn.

We lost one pak, no tanks but lots of ground. Almost got his NW VL at last few seconds.

Lebissey

Brits attacked all out with five to six tanks and infantry. Our men fought well but were overrun by the tanks. We lost two Marders two AT guns and many men. Our infantry took out a Churchill. Decisive win by Allies, capturing map and gaining access to Caen.

June 23rd PM

Brettville

Meeting engagement. I just wanted to blitz him. I knew he had six Fireflies so I took seven Panthers, two mortars cars and six infantry groups. I just rushed with my Panthers across the field and with there big guns they took out any Sherman. After five minutes the battle was decided and I just had to get hold of the VL`s.

Bloody battle, strong victory for Germans gaining map. Also disbanded 11th Armoured BG, sending it back to the beaches.

Panzermayer was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal.

June 24th AM

Bretteville

Disbanded the Allies with mainly infantry attack supported by Panthers. One of our Panthers was damaged but looks like he'll survive and be back next turn. I attacked from the South through the buildings mostly with infantry until the end when I moved a Panther up. One platoon leader team killed 18 men but died in the final assault.

Disbanding them here allowed us to move the Panthers forward to Hermanville, but the allies promptly cut them off from supply.

Caen

I lost three Panthers due to damage (was trying to disband them). I gave Weefunk Victoria Cross for his courage here - my mistake was not taking more infantry (I got low and couldn't screen the Panthers with infantry but I shot up buildings with guns and didn't find any AT, but Piats did very well (he had four of them). That and an airstrike damaged and caused us to lose the three Panthers. Very impressive by Allies.

Lt. Weefunk was awarded the Victoria Cross.

From Lt Weefunk:

``I were only doing my duty *S*``

Caen VS Bjorn

Due to the big threat of Panthers on this map I decided to take four Piats and no tanks because the tanks would only die. I started out with a good deploy, lots of no mans land so I could get into positions and set up ambushes. I protected my VL with an assault team, two piats and one gun group. When he started to advance with his Cats and U thought shit this is gonna go to hell. Tey popped up from everywhere and started to roll against my exit VL. Dropped arty on a pair that was moving along form the west I think I manged to get one of them immobilized but the other kept rolling, it was 30 meters from my exit until it MEOWed for the last time, nice clean hit from piat sent it bursting into flames. The one that was immobilized, I had to work on after eight round from two piats all the crew exept one were KIA. The last one I killed by air (captured). Also killed an 20 mm recon car that killed my humber.

Abbaye

Got the disband after five days of battle here. I attacked with 20mm recon cars and infantry, and a pak took out one of his tanks. Supply for tigers in Buron!!

Lingevers
Germans were cut off here and Brits dropped Arty in the first minute killing many men and guns. British moved an Achilles forth killing a gun and a flame HT. Brits made a rush in the last min and got last VL disbanding Germans.

June 24th PM

Bretteville

Allies take exit VL to Cristot with little resistance, cutting supply to Bretteville and making it harder to regain supply for Panthers in Hermanville (have to take all of Bretteville and now don't even have supply in Bretteville).

Troarn

Allies continue to try to push BGs out of supply behind our lines, so I order full attack and Panzermayer makes it happen.

Brits were coming in from the east with AB bg, without armor and only two 6 pdr`s. I atacked hard from all sides using armor and a few infantry teams. It was not a hard battle but the AB took out a PzIV on the exit VL with grenades.

The field brits were sneaking across became red fast.

June 25th PM

Buron

Brits attacked from the South in the town. I killed more of his infantry and two tanks, and captured one. He spotted my Tiger and attacked with two tanks (two Fireflies) and managed to kill it - I didn't have much ammo and no fuel. I resecured our Abbaye VL.

Bretteville

I chose a commando mission for myself: Take the supply VL to Cristot back if possible, but without risking any panzers.

I took two fresh recon cars and one PzIV. The recon cars got fuel but the PzIV did not.

I did a diversionary attack (hoping it might suceed too but was very hard) on the middle train station. It failed and I lost three teams doing so. One guy survived and I used him to scout the West area (supply VL). He panicked but luckily he ran into the street and spotted two inf teams and two M10s before surrendering.

I snuck my assault force (five inf teams) toward the nw town. once I was close and no mgs encountered, I recon assaulted the church and found two teams there - moved recon car up under heavy fire from 6 pdr but survived with speed and got to the church, hammered the infantry while my infantry teams assaulted. Met heavy infantry resistance after the church and couldn't get recon car past the hedges so I just used my mgs to fight them and flanked with my platoon leader and another team. Managed to wipe out the other two squads of brits but then the M10s were in the street. They don't have mgs (the M10s) so l popped smoke, ran across the street and got the VL!!!

Strategic goal achieved: Germans regain supply on Bretteville.

Hottot

I knew the allies didnt have much infantry or armor left so I tried to attack. In the first minute he assaulted in the East but my Jagdpanzer and infantry took a cromwell and two teams out. Karl got my 88 with four mortar rounds, lucky. After that it went fast. I chewed up some more infantry teams and another cromwell was shot by the jagd. He had a firefly covering the exit VL. I sneaked an infantry behind it and got the VL. I rushed another team on the tank and the Jag and got his main gun.

Allied BG is now cut off from supply.

Jagd proved deathly today

karl`s assault spoiled in the first 5 min
