Hi everybody !
When a game is started from Gamespy, the following message appears :
"There was an error that prevented the game from being launched. Check to make sure the game is properly installed and that the path is correct."
Would it come from a port not opened ?
Some details to help you.
With no mods (5.01a) the game used to work
Multiplayer mode UDP and TCP is also OK
I have no routeur
When scanning HD for games, several exe are found. I select C:/programme file/SSi/closecombatinvasion Normandy and the following message appears :
"you are currently up-to-date". Is it normal ?
My OS is XP and its firewall is used.
I hope all these clues will be enough for the enigma

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
