Usually any connection issues come down to configuring your firewall. Although, you are saying through the web... how exactly are you trying to connect?

If you use to router, is necessary to open the ports of the game; If you play in Game Spy, is necessary to open, the corresponding ports,

It looks for, in the book of instructions of router, or better it contacts with your supplier, asks since one becomes. Another option is to look for in the Web, the name and model of router, as the ports are opened. If you do not have it safe, is better not to touch the ports.
Greetings.

DAK von Manteuffel

Once the ports are open, do you have to specify it with a series of numbers following the IP, or something like it?. By the way you can answer me in spanish if you have any difficulty with english

Thanks so much again

In the image you can see as the ports are put.

To remember, that also there is to open ports, for GS. I copy the list to you.

To put, only, the necessary ones.

12300 UDP GameSpy Monitoring Port
13139 UDP GameSpy Custom UDP Pings
27900 UDP GameSpy Master Server UDP Heartbeat
28900 TCP GameSpy Master Server List Request
29900 TCP GameSpy Connection Manager
29901 TCP GameSpy Search Manager
6500 UDP GameSpy Query Port
6515 UDP GameSpy Dplay UDP
3783 UDP GameSpy voice chat (optional)
6667 UDP GameSpy IRC chat (optional)

I know, that my English, of automatic translation, is very bad, but by respect to the colleagues of this forum, I prefer to do it thus. If you want it can ask ne Spanish in the forum of the DAK

I've never had to open GS ports, only those for CC5.

But yes, behind a router/firewall port forwarding is essential or you have no chance.
