CC will definitely lives on!
I just hope the developers may dwelve in projects
concerning historical battles...large scale with hundreds of
maps..from division to platoon level...we will see this in years to
come...hopefully not when im 97 years old.
anyways do you guys know where did members of Close Combat
developers studied their trades in making strategy gamesSS??
if Keith Zabalaoui would just release the source code, this game could live on and grow stronger
Valve released its SDK with both half life, and Half life 2, essentially the day they released the game
this is why half life has had so many mods, some of the best games out there were half life mods , day of defeat, counter strike are the 2 main examples that most would recognize
but KZ wont release the code for a game that is how old?
even though he has stated himself that he will never touch the code again
so what then ........ it just sits there, no use to him, but he wont let us have it? while other companies are releaseing theirs from day one with state of the art games

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
