Please explain what steps you took and in what order.
did you
1. Download GD2 zip file?
2. Unzip it to your \plugins folder
3. Download the map pack
4. Unzip it to your \maps folder
5. use Modswap to install Grossdeutschland2 |

I've come across this "missing map" problem again this time trying to install GD2. It says this mod requires the following maps to be installed: Dniepr, Elnya and 22 additional maps. See documentation for details.
Then when I press "install anyway", this comes up: Error: Could not install the filecamp_ops/Abwerkampfe vor Kirowgrad into the destination C:\Program files..........Installation aborted. help me |

I just downloaded and installed and uninstalled Grossdeutschland 2 without any problems.
this would indicate that the problem is with your system.
Does it display Abwehrkämpfe vor Kirowograd with the umlaut over the a ?
What language version of Windows are you running? |

looks like it is a language problem for you PC.
two options
1.make some sort of windows update/reconfiguration so it can read umlauts
or
2. Edit the installation files... instructions below
If you open \plugins\Grossdeutschland2.cc3 with winzip and find Mod.ini and open it with notepad
edit all the references to ä (can you see the umlaut?)
to read a (No umlaut) .... there is quite a few
save
rename all operations files in the zip to read the same
and it should then work

I have the same problem and i did what you said above but nothing... any idea? |

sorry irenamed only the file mod.ini i couldnt rename the files in camp ops |
