CCM5 and CCM6 are versions of close combat marines. CCMT is basically CCM5. The CCM were produced for the US marines. CCM5 was like CCM3 without the bugs. CCM3 was the freely distributed simulator that a lot of people have.

CCM6 is an improved version. Schrek will know all that it does, but i think it contains placeable mines, foxholes, wire, civilians, and a more sophisticated ability to call artillery. Each soldiers kit can also be altered from a pool of equipment, and scenarios can be day or night.

Over to someone else in the know.

CCM5 was released as CCMT.

CCM6 is CCMAT + CCMJTAC or something like that. It features scripting, variable amount of players, advanced air support and artillery, civilians and other cool thingies and stuffies.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
