CC2 Damn Yank. Damnyank is a variant of the RealPara mod, for the game Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far
(CC2). Where RealPara posed the question: "Can we game out what actually happened at Arnhem?"
Damnyank poses a slightly different one: what if all those causes for the operation’s failure, listed in so
many historical books hadn’t been there. And of even more curiosity to the World War Two gamer: who
had the better fighting ability in the fall of 1944: a British corps, or an American one?
Damnyank is not going to settle that question. But we hope it will provide fodder for discussion.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
