Greetings everyone!
Playing Utah1.3 on multi with my bro I had an annoying problem.
After some crash during a batlle when we try to continue our campaign we find out that our forces start next batlle from wrong locations. They totally swap sides.. F.ex Uncle Red, D Day+1 morning...and suddenly german forces appear coming from the water and US has all the exit roads and half of fortifications! Generally map is divided into 3 equal parts (the mid one is neutral). Whole the rest(units, their types, numbers) is correct...
This is not some lil crash after 30 min of exhauting batlle... its pointless to continue the campaign or operation with this bug, and I dont know how to fix it.. (I try saving again, playing one to see if another is swaped too..and it is!)
Is it the Mod problem?
Anybody suffered smth simmilar before me?
Anyone an help me?

Glad I saw your post here, as I was looking for you in GC. I think the problem may be with using Air Support on the Les Piuex map in Utah 1.3 and not with your install. Reason being that it crashed again playing Puffy the Smoker, at the same point, right after AIr Support called in. We finally got the battle in, but with no Air Support used.

i ve just seen your reply. Thanks. If it is the map problem that explains much..
Im looking foreward to have some good lesson from Red Devils(or to give someone a good lesson  heh)

Dzięki za adres, ostatnio zachodziliśmy w głowę(ja+brat) gdzie się podział Jagdtiger..gdzie się schował (choć z jego gabarytami trudno;) lub w jaka zasadzkę wpadł. Zawsze gram w zgodności z Win98, to raczej przyspieszenie sprzętowe(już zmniejszone do 50%) lub jednak problem z mapą.
Dzięki również za gg, nie omieszkam skorzystać, chętnie powalczę na GS lub przez Hamashi

it seems that the website of close combat has changed(maybe long time ago but i hadnt noticed)and u cant purchase any part of CC there.
So try this one for example for cc5:

Hi,
I have "Informs DirectDraw that..." problem appearing EVEN WITH Direct Draw DISABLED! It happens generally when playing H2H and, from what i've seen, mainly when enemy(-->Allies, as i preffer Germans:D ) is conducting an airstrike... Recently it happened to me on Gamespy(it was the first time I played there) fighting against RD_Gen Jack (my nick is BRAT_SWAT)
Its realy annoying to play the same battle third time just becouse 2 previous crashed just before the end. Any ideas?
