hello. im veteran CC3 player, i had played it online trought the most used H2H mod (RR8.22, RRx, West front) since game release until the microsoft/atomic games server closure.
I still conserve tons of best maps and fair scenarios (skirmish, 3 days ops) of the CC3 golden era.
After CC3, any RTS (the last, steel division, tryed and leaved after boot camp) is pretty ridicolous or simply not so good: CC3 is very deep pure tactic in very few commands and you have all this under your control like no other game. So cleaver that there is not AI able to do it in so good way, best use and fun is head to head, like chess.
So yesterday i installed it again (CC3 Cross of Iron). If someone is intrested to play it, contact me. Berto72
