Ctrl+F Close Combat. Delete anything that relates to CC5. Worked fine here. In the registry of course.

I deleted all of the cc5 files (as far as I could tell) and I am still getting that error.

I know that this has been covered before, but after doing several searches I could not find the solution. I uninstalled CCV some time ago an evidently something is still on my hard drive.

Are there any solutions apart from cleaning the registry? Can I override this error somehow?

If not, how to I clean the registry of CCV files safely?

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
