Roll to decide officer count and level.  Roll for type of squad and level then again for support infantry
(Militia.rifle team.scouts.sniper.engineers) then again for extra support (at team.mg team.mortar.flamer)
This is just a wee idea. Cant remember the full jist.
I add an extra one of each per officer. I do the same for mech or armor if theyre in play. Any additional ideas u have would b awesome

Pretty basic. Stil needs sum work. Creating a new scenario i roll to decide the commander lvl for each side.
Same for ammo count.
then the type of scenario. Amount of vls and th placement of them on the map.
(Axis-neutral-allies)
Wether there is a barrage and the size.
Amount of territory each side has.
So far ive left the req points per day empty but roll for the map starting points.
(1=10,  6=60)
The difficult part is unit selection. I had it 1 or 2 is just infantry.
3 is mech/inf. 4 is mech/inf/armor. 5 is mech/armor. 6 is armor.
I need to charge my phn so im submitting :p

How to decide req points also. Any ideas?

How come some units when waiting in ambush dont engage a target when its right under their nose?
I tend to put my commander right back away from the frontline as i dont want to be hit and lose overall morale.
Should i use him up front more often or is it not worth it morally?

keep an eye on team morale. if its low get them to fallback and/or flee th battle. important to hav a commander within radius especialy
for troops with low morale/training

each battle takes a day wether u win or lose. 15days is max. if the enemy has no vic locations at th end of a battle they wil fallbak to another map.
that is if they get th chance. it is possible to annhialate them all in th first day if u hav th firepower.
try to balance th teams fairly. dnt giv to many points per day. maybe make a pattern for each team. most teams wil want to rest afta 3 battles. hope that helps

this might seem like a really dumb question but apart from demolitions what good are the engineers?
do they actually repair armored units when they are near?
ive never tried but i was just thinking about it last night when real blazed Mr. Green

not sure if its been mentioned already. (my dialup connection is shocking when it comes to loading all these jpgs)

i just got 'World War II in colour 4dvd set.
670mins into 13 chapters.

1. The Gathering Storm
2. Lightning War
3. Britain at Bay
4. Hitler Strikes East
5. Red Sun Rampant
6. The Mediterranean and North Africa
7. Turning the Tide
8. The Soviet Steamroller
9. Overlord
10. Closing the Ring
11. The Island War
12. Victory in Europe
13. Victory in The Pacific

rare and unseen footage from the air/land/sea including pretty much every main battle and it looks at it from every sides angle. (mainly brit, usa, nazi, iti, red, jap but does also mention a little bit on other countries involved)

link here: http://www.yourdiscovery.com/web/world-war-2/ww2-in-colour-hd/

i must say watching the beautiful monastery at cassino get bombed was quite something.
i also was surprised to learn that at the time of the normandy landing, hitler was sleeping and wasnt to be disturbed so he didnt find out for some hours after but he wasnt too alarmed and didnt think much of it at all.

i have this problem sometimes when the files in question have been named wrong.
just find the file its unable to read and rename it to the name its looking for.
eg. rename 'USnames.txt' to 'ùønames.txt'

this is just one example i had on the normandy mod
