I have been unable to connect thru gamespy online and thought the problem was with my port settings or firewall. I have now tracked the problem down to the fact I have a D-Link modem and between my modem and PC I have a seperate IP address as opposed to the address from my modem to the internet world. I therefore believe my system operates as a LAN between the PC and modem... how do I over come this to play my favourite game online? Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I recently upgraded my PC and reinstalled my favourite game CC5.. now when I join GS all good... join a game... when game is launched I crash... just comes up with the 'load' screen' and then crashes from there. Would appreciate any help that can be offered. I have a 3.4Ghz unit with a Navidia GE6600 graphics card running xp professional as it is a multimedia system. Look forward to hearing from someone.
I have installed CC5 version 5.00 and when I run the patch for 5.01 I am unable to run the game it tells me that the CD-ROM is not there! can anyone assist? I have tried changing the install of the patch to the CC5 Directory but still no further ahead. Any help would be appreciated.
In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
