He's  talking about the fast scroll speed.   Map goes from end to end.   And there's no solution really.  Some people adjust their CPu power saving settings to slow it down.   And it becomes usable.

I find the Pz Jager teams are fine.  They have a limited ability to kill tanks under the right conditions. At close range  As in real life. They are suicide squads.  They might get a hit, or two and die.
i generally hold them back for an ambush.  Or to figure out the battlefield . And where they can sneak up on a tank   . In buildngs , in cities  , its easier to sneak up on armor thats not moving.
'  And usually this means long games.  If the game is short. Then it takes too long for them to sneak up. Then they are useless.   Its difficult to  use them properly.

Im on Game Ranger and I got my first GJS game.  Somebody else hosted.   Great. it was awesome.   If I try and host I get a black screen.   So I get Utah 1.3 installed so I can play somebody from China . And i still cant host. And he cant either.   So i try and get hamachi up. He says hes got himachi.  But really its not mine. So I cant open a new network.  To connect to him.   And he suggest Game Spy.  Because he can host there. But Game Spy is closed.

Any suggestions

Diesel.

Hello
I got CC5 GJS  on my pc working. And game Ranger.  Anyone want to play.  I'm willing.
i have not had a chance to try game Ranger yet.
But i can set up a game and see people opening games.

i got other games. I guess i will try it with them, but i like GJS.   Damn near 5 years without GJS working. But its working
Also my brother has GJs on his pc. Hes a potential player too.
Im Diesel on Gameranger.
Also
im off work sometimes a week at a time. And i work shifts. So it might work fine if we are 12 hours difference or something.
if i can find a player we can get communication going . here, game ranger, text on cell phone.
Set up a time is fine.
Quite often I talk to China which is 12 hours difference.   Around 11.  Am and pm
im used to it.

PostForum: Site Info   Posted: Tue Mar 05, 2013 11:33 pm   Subject: Hello Everyone. Especially you Mooxe.
Its been about 7 years since I played  CCC5 GJS.  I was cleaning out my yahoo account and saw a old email from Mooxe.  I went through a few computers and I lost my game. But I'm hoping I can get it put back on here.  i have all the discs from 1 through 5.   Its such a fun game.  i thought of it hundreds of times and about trying to get it going again.  I'm on WIN 7 32 bit now. On 10 speed internet.  And honestly i had a little bit of trouble when i went to XP long ago.   I'm not sure how Win 7 will work.   Nevertheless. I'm willing to give it a go.   Also I want to thank Mooxe. We played half a game  long ago.  When I had crap internet. i think it was 56 K really.   HA.   I'm not even sure of the status of this game anymore. Even if anyone plays online.  I saw a bunch of new mods for sale for about 50 bucks. Yikes!!.

i 'm going to put my disc in and get the GJs mods again. it wont be 28 hours like before Smile    Im sure it wont work right off. But i will try.   Honestly i can see playing this game for the rest of my life.  Computer allowing it.

And everyone have a great day.

Diesel.

PS.  i just found my discs of CC Utah beach to Cherbourg. And my Cd of the mods.  Yeeha.

PPS  The Cd  works.  !!!   i got the patch, mods, and maps extracted.  I got to wait for my brother to install the stuff tomorrow.  Thank god for VNC and Hamachi.
