With JSGME you also get the added bonus of being able to install/uninstall other mods with it too. Cool

Hey TIK. Easy solution would be to use JSGME (JoneSoftGenericModEnabler), which was originally made for Silent Hunter III, but it works for anything if it's files that need to be replaced.

You can download it here:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/21681483/JSGME.7z

Extract the contents of the JSGME folder to your CC Caen folder and make a new folder inside the MODS folder and name it whatever you want to call your mod. Then just copy your modded MAPS folder inside that newly created folder.
So it should look like this MODS/TIK's Small Maps Mod/MAPS/[modified files here]

Fire up JSGME and you should see your mod listed on the left. Oh and JSGME backs up any files it needs to overwrite so it's completely safe, it's been used for years in multiple games.

I've always wondered how fast the Stuarts are in CC, never got around to try them. Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try!

First of all, hello. Long time lurker here. Great site you guys got here.

Recently I got my hands on to the CC5tLD and now after playing it for sometime, I was thinking of trying my hands on the modding aspect of the game.

I'm currently in process of learning 3D modelling and picked the Tiger II as my first "serious" project. Now as it's starting to take shape and really no use for it once it's finished, I got the idea of "porting" it to TLD.

To keep it simpler, I want to modify existing tank both graphically aswell as it's stats to match the Tiger II. I'm done with replacing the graphics (click) but I'm abit baffled when it comes to modifying the statistics.  Confused

I got the workbook and know what files (atleast I think I know the files) I need to edit to input the new changes to, but there's just so much stuff to edit/calculate/figure out that I'm getting more confused with every line I edit.  Razz

Soooo, I was hoping that someone here with the knowledge could help me out with maybe a not too in-depth tutorial on how the process of editing tank's statistics is best done.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Ow yeh, forgot.  Embarassed If it helps, the tank I'm thinking of replacing with the Tiger II is the Panzer V A command tank.

I think we should give the Hamachi a try. Nevermind what I said last night, I was wrong. Rolling Eyes

So, let's try it via Hamachi, if it doesnt work any better, lets come back and cry 2x harder. Very Happy
